What is the Pahappa Middleware SMS Service?
The Pahappa Middleware SMS Service is a solution that connects biometric or access control devices (such as Hikvision terminals) with EgoSMS. It enables real-time SMS alerts when employees, students, or visitors clock in, clock out, or trigger other events.Â
Who can use this service?
This service is ideal for schools, companies, factories, and organizations that want instant SMS notifications linked to biometric attendance or access control devicesÂ
What devices are supported?
The service supports most biometric and access control devices, including popular brands like Hikvision. If your device can push data over the network (via API), it can be integrated.Â
Do I need an EgoSMS account to use this service?
Yes. An EgoSMS account is required because SMS notifications are sent through the EgoSMS gateway.Â
Can I customize the SMS messages?
Yes. SMS templates can be customized to include details like employee/student name, time, and location.
How long does message delivery take?
The average delivery time through our SMS Gateways is around 10 seconds but may take longer due to network congestion.
Who receives the SMS notifications?
Notifications can be sent to employees, parents/guardians (for schools), HR, supervisors, or any designated contact list.Â
How fast are SMS messages delivered?
Delivery is real-time. Once the device registers an event, the middleware immediately processes it and sends the SMS through EgoSMS.Â
Do I need internet for the service to work?
Yes. Our local service requires internet connectivity to push data to Pahappa middleware.Â
What happens if the internet goes down?
If internet connectivity is lost, events are queued and pushed once connectivity is restored. However, real-time delivery will be affected until the connection is back.
Can the service handle multiple devices at once?
Yes. The middleware can receive data from multiple biometric devices across different locations.Â
