Categories
This feature is for setting up the different categories in the organization. Categories are at a higher hierarchy than departments.
Under HR admin setup, click on “Department management”, then click on Categories to create one.
To create a new category, click on “Add New”, a dialog is displayed, fill in the “Name” and description which is an option and save.
Departments
This feature allows creation of the organization departments. To create a new department, click on “Add New” select a category in which it belongs, a dialog is displayed, fill in the “Name” and “Description” which is an option and save.
